Madrid Community adopted a new regulation aimed at reducing the maximum bet limit on gaming machines. From the newly approved, the betting limits may range from a minimum of 20 cents and a maximum of 1 euro.

This new legislation attempts to equate the form with which this practice is governed in this community with the other communities and regions. Measure is expected to inflict a great boost to the sector, allowing a true revival, serving well, thus, a springboard toward a restructuring and technological renovation of it, which, as we reported from this area, has also taken place and with continued success in several places it has been implemented.

The homogeneity of the sector will present to the length and breadth of the country is in great facilities for manufacturers, who must not subdivide its parent production now in order to account for different needs. Production costs will drop and that will lead to a potential expansion much more promising. In turn, the new regulatory framework is no longer necessary to have prior approval to start the exploitation of these products.

Management will continue to be exercised, but through controls acting on their own performance and not to mechanisms that could inhibit the dynamism of the sector. (more…)
